Anthony Nuttall

Anthony David Nuttall (April 25, 1937 – January 24, 2007) was an English literary critic and academic.
Educated at Hereford Cathedral School and Merton College, Oxford, Nuttall taught at Sussex University before moving to New College, Oxford in 1984. His published works include studies of Shakespeare and works on the connections between philosophy and literature. His brother Jeff Nuttall was a poet and an important figure in 1960s counterculture.
