Anthony Mayman

Anthony Mayman was one of the most successful British competitors in historic automobile racing in the late 1980's and early 1990's. A successful businessman, he owned a number of historic racing cars, but was best known for his achievements in the famous ex-Raymond Mays ERA R4D. In addition to numerous racing successes he set new pre-war record times at a number of hill climb venues, including Shelsley Walsh, Prescott and Wiscombe.

He was a previous owner of the Aston Martin DB4 GT Prototype DP 199, raced in period by the great Stirling Moss.
