Anthony Laffranchi (born 16 November 1980 in Murwillumbah, New South Wales) is an Australian professional rugby league player for the Gold Coast Titans in the National Rugby League. His position of choice is at Second Row though he can also play lock. He was educated at Mt St Patrick College where he excelled in all sports; particularly rugby league.
Laffranchi has been one of the stand-out players in the NRL in the 2007 season leading the competition in Hit-Ups, Tackles and Offloads before missing 4 weeks due to injury and was unlucky to miss out on selection for a Blues jersey in State of Origin game One.

On March 6, 2007, New South Wales police charged Anthony Laffranchi with the sexual assault of a 26-year-old woman. The charge was dismissed by a magistrate in April 2008.[1]

After an outstanding performace with the new found Gold Coast Titans in 2007 and a solid performance in 2008, Laffranchi was selected to play for the City Country Game representing Country, in which he was awarded Man of the Match. Laffranchi has been selected for NSW State of Origin Game 1.
Laffranchi came off the bench in State of Origin and was a success as an interchange. Scoring the winning try off a Mark Gasnier line break and leading the tackle count (40) for NSW.
