Anthony J. Mifsud is a Maltese-born actor and an award winning singer and songwriter who was raised in Toronto, Canada and who is professionally known as Mif.
Mif began his career as the front man and award-winning vocalist for the Canadian hard rock/heavy metal musical group Slash Puppet (1989-1995).
A versatile entertainer, Mif is also an actor who has appeared both nationally and internationally in numerous film and television productions. His film credits include such films as Just Business, Foolproof, D-TOX, Eye See You, Detention, Direct Action, Robocop (Prime Directives), Dirty Works, The Stupids, Partners In Action and Gossip.
On television, he has had roles in episodes such as Queer As Folk, This Is Wonderland, Due South, Psi Factor, John Woo’s Once A Thief, FX: The Series, Kung Fu: The Legend Continues and Relic Hunter.
Furthermore, his voice has been heard on several radio and television network programs and commercial spots across North America, pitching products for such sponsors as Acura, Sony, Molson’s, Labatt’s, Dodge-Chrysler, Ford, G.M., Canada Post and Kellogg. While writing credits include several local sport publications, as well as such national magazines as Fresh, Canadian Musician, M.E.A.T. Magazine, Inside Soccer and The Soccer News.
