Anthony Gilbert (composer)

Anthony Gilbert (born London, July 26, 1934) is a British composer. He studied with Mátyás Seiber, Alexander Goehr, Gunther Shuller, and Anthony Milner. He was head of the School of Composition at the Royal Northern College of Music until 1999. He is published by the University of York Music Press (since 1994) and Schott Music (works prior to 1994).
