Anthony Foster

Rt Hon Anthony Foster of Collon, Co Louth was Lord Chief Baron of the Exchequer in Ireland and was elected member to the Irish House of Commons for the constituency of Dunleer, in County Louth 1737-1760.
He was son of John Foster of Dunleer and Elizabeth Fortesque. He married first Elizabeth Burgh. They had children:
- John Foster, 1st Baron Oriel
- Rt Rev William Foster, DD (Lord Bishop of Kilmore)
- Margaret Foster who married Rt Rev Hon Henry Maxwell
He married 2nd Catherine Burgh.[1].
