Anthony Cherrington (June 13, 1988) born in Auckland, New Zealand is a rugby league player who plays for the Sydney Roosters but spent most of the 2007 season in the premier league. In round 25 he was picked as 18th man to replace Ashley Harrison but was not selected in the team as Ashley was cleared to play. At the end of 2007 he was selected for the Junior Kiwis. Played junior rugby league for the Paddington-Woolahra Tigers and currently plays in the Roosters Under 20's team.
On the 13th of May 2008 he was named on the bench for his first grade debut against Parramatta Eels with Craig Fitzgibbon, Anthony Tupou, Willie Mason and Nate Myles out of the team for origin camp.
