Antarctic Climate and the Earth System

Antarctic Climate and the Earth System (ACES) is a science programme of the British Antarctic Survey being undertaken over the period 2005-2010. It is focused on the connections between Antarctic climate and that of lower latitudes.

Develop models for Antarctic regional processes and relate them to global modals
Determine the connections between Antarctica and global climate
Learn the importance of Antarctic water masses for global ocean circulation
