António de Almeida Santos

António de Almeida Santos, GCL (born in Cabeça, Seia, February 15, 1926), is a Portuguese politician, parliamentary and minister in several occasions and a former 10th President of the Portuguese parliament.

Almeida Santos born in Cabeça, Seia municipality, graduated in law (1950) at the University of Coimbra. In 1952 he went to Lourenço Marques (now Maputo, Mozambique) where he was a lawyer until 1974, the year of 25 de Abril revolution in Portugal, when he returned to Lisbon. He is married and has issue.
