[edit] Biography

António Rodrigues started out as a screenwriter at the age of 17, when he was unofficially hired to rewrite a feature length screenplay. Its actual production was never concluded, but that did not undermine the young author's determination. On the contrary, driven by the discovery of his new passion--writing for film--he developed his craft and in 2006 he was officially hired to write his first television series, O Último Tesouro (2008).

His acting career began around the same time, in the year 2000. Ever since he has had the opportunity to learn various expressions of the art, such as Drama Expression from Paulo Diegues, Method from Marcia Haufrecht, African Contemporary Dance from Boris, Performance Movement from Peter Michael Dietz, and the Meisner technique from Johnny Frey, among others.

Rodrigues frequently works with film composer Bruno Bizarro, an old friend with whom he maintains a strong professional relationship.
