--Hey man, nice to see someone actually had the balls to call out the Ronnie Lott/Ickey Woods myth. You should write a book about how Lott is/was one of the most overrated athletes of the 20th century. I can supply you with plenty of material if you'd like.

[edit] About Me

My user name, Anson2995 is an inside joke. It's a reference to the disputed hit total for baseball Hall of Famer Cap Anson.

I am a writer and sports reference editor living in upstate New York. I have written or edited 14 books on the history of sports. My current focus is professional football, but most of my published work has been on baseball.

Most of my Wikipedia contributions have been to entries for sports figures, particularly significant sports writers. I have also contributed to entries for people and places in my hometown, and other topics with which I am acquainted.

[edit] Current Projects

I'm spearheading an effort to identify and correct plagarism / copyright violatons in articles about NFL players. It's a substantial problem. See this page for more information, and please let me know if you're interested in helping.
