I was born on the last birthday of Elvis, and I hail from Rovaniemi, Finland. I have an (sometimes obsessive) interest on various facts, numbers and statistics; so there's also some interest to Wikipedia, as these things can be found here extensively. Perhaps as a cause or consequence I have developed an unusual memory, and made to the national edition of Guinness World Records a few times. My best performances are reciting the pi to the 2,146th decimal, and remembering the birthdays of 1,512 people. This was some time ago though. My hobbies include bicycling (up to 10,419 km/6,474 mi per year, and 250.03 km/155.36 mi per day) and birding (227 species observed in Finland, 196 without the use of a motor vehicle). The rarest bird I've observed in Finland was a Caspian Plover – the only one recorded in Finland so far – in Niskanperä, Rovaniemi on June 3, 2005 (the Abdim's Stork I first saw on July 13, 2007 in Pekkala, Rovaniemi was deemed an escape by the Finnish Rarities Commitee).

I've retained my edits mostly to discussion pages – after all, English is not my native language. Perhaps I'll do more in the future.

I'm also a user of the Finnish edition of Wikipedia.
