[edit] Rewrite

This needs a rewrite, so it's not all a quote. Also, a bit more info about what defines the A&D action, and a good drawing--a patent drawing would be great--would help flesh things out. scot 19:13, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

I tracked down a patent for a boxlock gun by Deeley, from 1898, at http://v3.espacenet.com/origdoc?DB=EPODOC&IDX=GB189717731&F=0&QPN=GB189717731 Still looking for original 1875 patent, I'm not used to the British system. scot 22:17, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
  • One of the most hopeless articles I've read on wikipedia - not a single mention of the uniqueness of the action is made. If this doesn't improve it should be deleted forthwith.Malick78 17:02, 31 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] spelling of "principal" in the quote?

Either "principal" is mis-spelled in the quote (should be "principle") or the original quote was incorrect/archaic, and we should add a "[sic]" inside the quote. Since I don't have the original source for the quote, I don't know which way to go. FusionNow 16:07, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
