Anson Adams Mount IV (born February 25, 1973) is an American actor who has appeared in both movies and television shows. Mount has also played Jim Steele on the short-lived NBC series, Conviction and appeared in the independent movie Tully with Julianne Nicholson, as the title character Tully Coates, a playboy whose ways are changed when he meets Ella Smalley (Nicholson), a friend of his brother. He was nominated for a Golden Raspberry Award for his performance in Crossroads, although not by name. The nomination for "Worst Screen Couple" was for Britney Spears and "Whatever his name was".

Mount was born in White Bluff, Tennessee to Anson Adams Mount III, a sportswriter, and Nancy Smith, a professional golfer.[1] He is a graduate of the University of the South and holds an MFA in acting from Columbia University.
