Ansford is a village and parish in Somerset, England, situated on the northern edge of Castle Cary in the South Somerset district. The village has a population of 1,048 . There is a Secondary School called Ansford Community School which has over 700 students aged 11-16.
In 1740 it was the birthplace of clergyman James Woodforde.
