Ansal Institute of Technology

Ansal Institute of Technology (AIT) is a private, college situated in Gurgaon, Haryana India. Affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (IP University), AIT was established in the year 2000 under the Chiranjiv Charitable Trust.

The engineering college was established by The Ansal's Group. Various engineering degree courses are offered in the field of Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, Electronics and Biotechnology. The College is directly affiliated with the Guru Gobind SIngh Indraprastha University, Delhi. Lately, Ansal Institute of Technology has been recognised by University Grants Commission under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act 1956 vide letter no. F8-35/2006 (CPP- I) dated 11th May, 2006. The College also provides "Higher Education" from the following Universities with which it has direct collaboration or in the process of Agreement:

Ansal Institute of Technology is located in the foothills of Aravallis and is situated near offices of Shipra Sun City, Genpact, Golf Clubs. It is situated in Sector-55, Gurgaon, Haryana.
The College is close to major Gurgaon Malls, Indira Gandhi International Airport and offers services for students commuting from Delhi, NCT and NCR.

There is a huge ground, basketball court and other Clubs. There are provisions for indoor games like carrom and table tennis. The campus has lush greenery throughout the year. Even the insides of the buildings are spruced up by placing potted plants. 
The classrooms are roomy and well ventilated. There is ample natural light pouring in courtesy of the large windows. The labs are modern and well equipped. Elements of contemporary design can be seen everywhere.
In the year 2006, the new wing in the College called the Centre of Excellence was inaugurated. This new "Wing" now provides Students to gain valuable industrial Experience and offers tieups with Multi National Companies.
Oriental Bank of Commerce extension is also opened lately to provide facilities like Education Loans and Students Saving Account with minimum balance of Rs 10, inside the Ansal Institute campus.

2. Bachelor of Business Administration ((Banking & Insurance) for a duration of 3 years

Scholarship - Scholarships to the extent of $12,000 are awarded to top Ranking by collaborating Overseas universities along with opportunity for one year paid internship. Students who became Alumni have earned other scholarships like John Deere, Merit Scholarship etc.
Criteria for admission are assessed on the basis of the following:
1. Overall Candidate's Academic Profile.
2. Performance/Score in a test like AIEEE or any Other Entrance Exam or AIT's Aptitude Test.
3. Personal Interview.

The annual cultural festival called the "Manthan" is celebrated during the period starting from February. In 2007, AIT also celebrated its first Alumni Reunion.
