Thank you for experimenting with the page Pontius Pilate's wife on Wikipedia. Your test worked, and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.

Please also have a look at wikipedia:verifiability (official policy!) --Francis Schonken 08:34, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

Still about Pontius Pilate's wife:

Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert an article to a previous version more than three times in 24 hours. (Note: this also means editing the page to reinsert an old edit. If the effect of your actions is to revert back, it qualifies as a revert.) Thank you.

Slow revert wars are not appreciated either.

Either you come up with references for the apocryphal details you time and again insert in Pontius Pilate's wife, either these apocryphal details are not included. It's as simple as that. If you continue to edit-war over unreferenced material, you will get blocked. --Francis Schonken 07:53, 24 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] ABOUT YOUR EDITS ON ARTICLES CONCERNING MEMBERS OF THE JULIO-CLAUDIAN DYNASTY

Please, do not delete referenced content and replace it by unreferenced one (like you did on Claudia Pulchra for instance). This violates the wikipedia:verifiability rule (official policy!). Thank you for your understanding. --Junillus 29 April 2006

[edit] Your edits to Annia Cornificia Faustina

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia, Anriz! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but please note that the link you added in is on my spam blacklist and should not be included in Wikipedia. Please read Wikipedia's external links policy for more information. If the link was to an Imageshack or Photobucket image, please read Wikipedia's image tutorial on how to use a more appropriate method to insert the image into an article. If your link was genuine spam, please note that inserting spam into Wikipedia is against policy. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! Shadowbot 02:50, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Cleopatra Selene

I agree, not everyone knows what Selene means. But if any one of a hundred books on Greek can tell you a fact, we don't need to say "Plutarch says.." — as if no one else agrees. I've removed it because it makes the fact look suddenly controversial rather than really well established. — Laura Scudder 15:46, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Deletion

I have listed Quintus Pedius (deaf painter) for deletion. You can see the entry here. Thanks   jj137 (Talk) 23:19, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] The Antonia Article

A tag has been placed on Antonia, granddaughter of Gaius Antonius Hybrida requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Monkeytheboy (talk) 05:08, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] The Antonia Article Part II

Thank you for your contributions to wikipedia. New articles are always appreciated. However, there are some guidelines you may want to check out regarding biographies of relatively unknown people. Please refer to WP:NPF. Also note for further information Wikipedia:What_Wikipedia_is_not#Wikipedia_is_not_and_indiscriminate_collection_of_information. My humble apologies for placing a speedy deletion tag on your article though. I should've placed a deletion tag instead.

Please note however that I've placed templates on your page. Also note your person's notability. Even though your article may be notable to you, there IS a project that may interest you in which your assistance may prove quite helpful. (Because your character's notability seems to be non existent, this article may be deleted in the long run). Please also refer to Wikipedia:WikiProject Genealogy. I hope this proves helpful. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Monkeytheboy (talkcontribs) 15:00, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Nice article

Nice article writing there at Cotys IX. Usually articles start much further from being finished. Mac Davis (talk) 10:29, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Tiberius Julius Aspurgus

Since you cite a reference as 'the French version of Wikipedia', could you give a me a link? I can link the two in the sidebar using wikification. Thanks. αѕєηιηє t/c 07:11, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
