It was very welcome to get input from someone who actually knows my work. Thank you.
As regards legalizing marijuana, the only argument that I know of against legalizing any drug (other than the Pressing Need To Regulate Personal Behavior %P) is that it makes it easier to get; and I am unable to think of ANY policy change that would increase the incidence of marijuana use in this country, short of making it compulsory and enforcing that by direct supervision.
The only change caused by legalization of grass would be to slash the price, which would have the effect of cutting into the income of organized crime both here and abroad-- so I doubt it'll happen. Matthew Joseph Harrington 16:04, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
