[edit] Unblock Request and discussion

EI ZIISUS MITÄ JÄRKYTTÄVÄÄ DRAAMAA! SINÄKÖ MUKA ANONYYMI!? ANONYYMI EI TARVITSE TÄLLÄISTÄ PASKAA NIMIMERKKIÄ EGOAAN PÖNKITTÄMÄÄN VAAN TEKEE SEN PUHTAASTI ANONYYMISTI! MENE TAKAISIN GAIAAN! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.148.193.50 (talk) 20:14, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | rangeblocks | unblock | contribs | deleted contribs) has asked to be unblocked, but an administrator has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock request while you are blocked.

Request reason: "Seems like Ryulong, the admin who banned me, doesn't want to answer my email about this matter, so I'll just post here. Here is a copy of the message that I sent to Ryulong via email: [mail] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Anonyymi here. I see that you banned me for "trolling" for indefinite period. Just how exactly did I "troll" to deserve this ban? If I recall correctly, I only took part in the discussion about the new image in the Lolicon article. I didn't even edit the article or anything (well, I couldn't, because it was already semi-protected by the time I started discussing with my IP address before creating this account). Why can't I say that "people just want this deleted because they don't like it", and how is this trolling? Many people agree with this, are they trolls too? If that's enough for "trolling", why was I the only one to get banned? I seriously want this thing to get solved, and it won't really help if people start banning other people for not being in their side in the matter. So basically, I was NOT trolling, I was just expressing my opinion and thoughts on the matter, thus, this ban is unfair, and I want it removed. - Anonyymi [/mail] So, this looks like a ban based on dispute to me, which should be not accetable reason for a ban, as stated in Wikipedia:Blocking_policy#Disputes."

Decline reason: "There is an agreement here that you're continuing to troll, even through unblock requests. No unblock. — -Pilotguy hold short 20:40, 8 June 2007 (UTC)"

Please make any further unblock requests by using the {{unblock}} template. However, abuse of the template may result in your talk page being protected.

  • Comment This user has only made 1 substantial discussion edit, [1], and it was a reasoned opinion and most definitely not trolling. Unless there's something in the deleted history, a block in this case was completely inappropriate. --tjstrf talk 22:12, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
He made more edits under his IP before registering. -Jmh123 22:22, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
Which IP? --tjstrf talk 22:27, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
My IP is 83.245.135.80, and I used that for discussion in the Talk:Lolicon page. EDIT: Also, as you can see, Herostratus removed that comment you linked to as "trolling". --Anonyymi 22:40, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
Everything in Special:Contributions/83.245.135.80 seems clean to me as well. --tjstrf talk 22:56, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
This checkuser which I just filed for user Kirbytime may of be interest, I'm suspecting that Anonyymi is Kirbytime (who was also banned indef for trolling). The 3 similarities are listed in the end of that case. --Matt57 (talkcontribs) 01:07, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
I doubt it. Anonyymi is a guy off 4chan who joined in order to comment on the image debates. --tjstrf talk 01:11, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
Are you sure? It could be kirbytime pretending to be from Finland. His first edit was a lot of userboxes and the line where he tells Anonyymi means anonymous in Finnish. Not to mention that this is another user banned for trolling about child porn related pictures, which is what Kirbytime was all about. --Matt57 (talkcontribs) 02:07, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
Matt, that IP is definitely from Finland. You might want to check out new user BroaderPerspective who added an image to child pornography yesterday with the edit comment, "One more for User:Kirbytime" and is now trolling Jimmy Wales. -Jmh123 04:47, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
So with that hurdle cleared, is his block ever going to be reviewed? --tjstrf talk 08:16, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
I have no relations to user called Kirbytime in anyway, this discussion was the first time I have ever heard of him. So, could someone do something about this ban already? The discussion has gone miles forward without me being able to take part in, and I'm pretty frustrated about this whole thing for getting banned for nothing.
My contributions under this nickname
My contributions under my IP, before making a profile
tjstrf already said that he doesn't see anything that would be considered "trolling" in my contributions, could someone else do the same implication already? --Anonyymi 10:54, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

Excuse me, WHAT? "There is an agreement here that you're continuing to troll, even through unblock requests." WHO exactly have an agreement that I'm "trolling"? HOW DID I "TROLL"? SERIOUSLY. I won't be satisfied with this result if you won't even provide any good reasons why my few contributions would be considered "trolling". Even Tjstrf said that he doesn't see anything that could be considered trolling in my contributions (he was on the same side as me in the dispute of the Lolicon article, but ignoring a comment like this from an respected writer that has received awards and such, there's something wrong in it), then how did other people "come to an agreement" that I'm trolling? If I'm completely banned from editing Wikipedia ever again just because I wanted to take part in a discussion related to the Lolicon article, there's just something wrong with it. Please tell me, what the hell did I do to deserve this kind of treatment? --Anonyymi 21:03, 8 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Unblocked

I have come to an agreement with Anonyymi privately. So long as he does not edit pages relating to Wikipedia:WikiProject Pedophilia Article Watch, he is allowed to edit under this account.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 21:28, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
