[edit] Trading spaces

alt text

Hello, Anonymous anonymous, thank you for signing up to participate in Esperanza's trading spaces program. As you requsted to have your user page renovated by another user, TBC will be renovating your userpage. Please contact TBC on their talk page about the renovating. The renovating will be listed at Wikipedia:Esperanza/Programs#Undergoing_Renovation, please feel free to update the status as it changes. Enjoy!

Before I start changing your userpage, could you please give me a general idea of how you want the page to appear?--TBC 23:48, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] The thin love between love and hate (of vandals)

I just removed it for a few because I thought it was looking too sparse... I needed to build up some more entertaining ones, I guess. But, seeing that it garnered a quote of the week on your talk page, that's motivation enough for me to bring it back. I'll try to keep on top of RC to find some new stuff — actually, my user page has been a frequent target lately of an angry band of dwarves, but nothing too clever yet. [edit] Tone's RfA thanks

Dear Anonymous anonymous/Talk Section Archives Page 4 — Thank you for your support on my recent RfA. It succeeded with a final tally of 46/2/3 so now I am an administrator. I'll be taking things slowly at first and getting used to the new tools, but please let me know if there's any anything I can help you with in the future. And please correct me, if you spot I make a mistake. Thank you again. --Tone 00:01, 27 May 2006 (UTC))

[edit] About your welcome template

Hi, I just noticed your welcome template. Could you please take the link to Esperanza out of it? I know it's good to let people know about it, but I don't want people to start getting the impression that we're spamming them. Esperanza has kind of been under fire in that area, so I think we should be careful. About the other links: please note that Community Justice no longer exists under that name. Thanks! --JoanneB 22:19, 27 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Stress!

Hey Anonymous anonymous,

I hope this week full of stress goes well for you! And don't let it make you leave Wikipedia, though real life can be tough, you are an asset here. -- Natalya 05:40, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for the birthday wishes. :D -- Natalya 14:09, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
Your "I'm not leaving" message just brought a smile to my face. Glad you'll be sticking around. :) -- Natalya 13:35, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
I double that. Taking a break is always useful, though. Relax. --Tone 13:45, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
Yay! :D Thanks for the barnstar, I'm just glad I could help. -- Natalya 14:48, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

Concordia Newsletter

Community Justice is no more. It has been reformed to Concordia. Membership has been transferred.

Concordia is an organization of editors on Wikipedia that strive to encourage civility and fair treatment among all editors in the Wikipedian community, from the Wikignome to the Wikiholic. The project was designed to have a friendly and helpful environment to support any unfortunate Wikipedians that have become victims of incivility, hostility, or continual disrespect.

We currently need help in getting going, and making the community understand our aims. We work for civility. Nothing more, nothing less.

If you have ideas, let us know at our talk page, or on the IRC channel. We aim to spread civility in every way we can.

Should you wish to unsubscribe to future newsletters, please add your name to Wikipedia:Concordia/Do Not Spam.

Thank you for your time. If you need anything, feel free to comment at WT:CCD or come into our IRC channel [1].

[edit] Blnguyen's RfA

Hello anonymous anonymous. Thank you for your support and gracious comment at my request for adminship which ended at the overwhelming and flattering result of (160/1/0), and leaves me in a position of having to live up to a high standard of community expectation. You can see me in action and observe what then happened as a result. If you need admin assistance, feel free to ask me. Naturally, if I make any procedural mistakes, feel free to point them out. I look forward to working with you in the future, hopefully as an admin. Blnguyen | Have your say!!! 03:10, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Welcome message

Hi! I noticed that you put my name in your welcome message. I'm not sure if you are still using that welcome message, but could you remove my name? I actually get informed of {{helpme}} requests more often than I check my talk page - so {{helpme}} is better for newcomers. Also, I may not be around forever. No need to remove my name from the welcome messages that have already gone out, I have enjoyed helping those people and will continue to do so. No harm done.--Commander Keane 10:02, 1 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] VandalProof

I have replied on my talk page. Replying on your page means the thread is broken and is horribly difficult to piece back together later. --Chris (talk) 10:14, 1 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] RE: Barnstar

Hi, Thanks for awarding me a barnstar for obsessive tireless contributing...! I don't know if it's a record or anything, but the barnstar remained on my user page for a mere 2 minutes before NSLE removed it. S/he seems to be on a campaign to revert the barnstars you've awarded... Ciao! Pinkville 13:25, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

Now that I re-read the chain of events - I see that it was Schoolhouseawarder that did the awarding. Whoops. Sorry. Pinkville 13:33, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] A haiku of thanks

Thanks for your support
In my RfA, which passed!
Wise I'll try to be.

Your support is fantastic to have, especially because it shows that you're still here! I am so glad that I helped you decide not to leave, the entire community is better because you are still here!

[edit] Dear Mary Jane

My dear Mary Jane, I wish to thank you wholeheartedly for both your concern in my absence and your beautiful welcome message. In fact, I wanted to send you an email, but you appear to have not activated it yet :/ Anyway, your kind words cheered me no end. For that, I humbly and sincerely offer myself to you as your friend. I know and I hope we'll get to talk more in the future about more pleasant things. I've seen you around, and it always fills me with joy to see someone who truly understands the value of Wikilove. Have a great big {hug} from me, Mary - come by and visit me any time you wish. Cheers! Phaedriel tell me - 23:24, 4 June 2006 (UTC) PS. Get well soon! [edit] Clownfish FPC

I notice you uploaded an edited version of the Clownfish FPC, Image:Clownfish sprain water1 edit01.jpg. As this version wasn't promoted, it currently isn't being used in any articles. Would you mind if I deleted it as a redundant image, or would you prefer to keep it uploaded? Raven4x4x 10:42, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your vote on Wikipedia:Featured picture candidates/Snail-WA

Hi Anonymous!
Wikipedia:Featured picture candidates/Snail-WA seems to be getting into a bit of a bog. Could you please specify which version your vote goes for? This will help to reach a consensus on which version to promote. Thanks! --Fir0002 10:10, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for your rapid response, also for the image placement. Unfortunately this photo is of the Tambo River in East Gippsland Australia, so I've had to remove it :-( I've updated the image info. --Fir0002 11:58, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Vandal revert on Language game

Hi. Could you elaborate your reasoning for reverting my edit on the Language game article? Was it because I'm not registered here, because the edit was adding (legimit) gibberish, because it didn't fit the article or what? You're welcome to leave your response at this user talk page.

(I'm sorry if I'm not adding to the right spot on the page. This seemed to be at the bottom of the MESSAGES: section.
Have a nice day! 81.226.178.210 21:30, 11 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Nope

I don't have a username quite yet, although I plan on getting one at some point. For instance, using my user contributions as a form of a watchlist is a little tough. :) 69.145.123.171 Hello!

[edit] Re: Osama bin Laden

Hi, Mary Jane! Sorry for the late reply. Currently, the amount of vandalism to Osama bin Laden doesn't seem severe enough to warrant semi-protection, although it has been fully protected from page moves since May 18. If the vandalism picks up again, you'll probably get a swifter response at Wikipedia:Requests for page protection or on IRC. Thanks for being alert. :) All the best, Sango123 18:36, 12 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] My RFA

Anonymous anonymous, thank you very much for your support in my recent Request for adminship, it passed with a final tally of (65/3/3) - which I find both amazing and humbling. I wish I had time to thank everyone personally, but I'm afraid all I can offer is this token of my gratitude. I hope to live up to your expectations/hopes.
