Nice to see the map on the main page! I didn't even know that with the bomb, even tought I should as I live in Algeria... --ESCONDITES 16:57, 11 December 2007 (UTC)

Certainly. I have no objection to anything I've written being used for any purpose whatsoever. Everyking (talk) 07:15, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Debatepedia‎

Just letting you know that Debatepedia‎ qualified for speedy deletion under A7 (see WP:CSD and WP:N). I'd also like to point out that another article on the same topic also was deleted after an AfD a few months back, see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Debatepedia. To pass speedy criteria, the article has to at least attempt to explain the notability. And to pass our inclusion guidelines, you need to reference multiple, independent reliable sources. Wikinews is not a reliable source according to our policy. I've copied the content below so you have a chance to rework it. If you think you can create an article that pass muster, then feel free to re-submit the article. If you have any questions about notability or our deletion policies, feel free to ask. Or you are welcome to contact me if you want me to take a look at a draft revision of the article (before you take it live again to check if it meets our WP:WEB requirements). Hope this helps.-Andrew c [talk] 14:25, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for notifiying me. Smallbig (talk) 17:06, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Merger

Thanks for posting the airline story- in fact, someone has got there first and it is currently being debated on the candidates page - Wikipedia:In the news section on the Main Page/Candidates. Feel free to chip in to the discussion. Badgerpatrol (talk) 17:20, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

As far as I'm aware, no-one else has created an article on the merger. Could be that it might be more appropriate to include the material as a sub-section of one of the airlines' pages instead, but this can be discussed. Badgerpatrol (talk) 17:32, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

Image Copyright problem

Hi Smallbig!
We thank you for uploading Image:Guardian america logo.png, but there is a problem. Your image is currently missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. [edit] Orienteering

I have completed an initial GA review of this article and placed it on hold for seven days. If my initial concerns are addressed, I will complete a more detailed review at that time. I hope you find my comments helpful. Best wishes, GaryColemanFan (talk) 21:33, 24 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Otto Lummer

Oops - I had a rewrite of the initial Otto Lummer stub planned. I don't know if you are continuing to edit or are done. I'll merge my work into what you added. Marc Kupper (talk) (contribs) 20:06, 29 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Grenelle Environnement

Thanks for your guidance here. My idea is to get this thing posted as a starting point/reference on an important topic of public policy where our French friends are setting an important example. I am inviting French and other international colleagues to chip in to clean this up and make it more authoritative and complete.

Sorry but don't know how to create the "Other languages" link to http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grenelle_de_l%27environnement. (I know as a contributor I should be I am terrible time-starved.) ericbritton (talk) 08:57, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Re: User:N Fillion's biggest fan

You asked this user why he was making nothing-edits to his own talk page. fyi, he was doing this to gain autoconfirmed status, so he could start vandalizing. Algebraist 20:12, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Welcoming my IP

Thanks for the welcome, but I'm actually an established user, User:Steve Crossin. This is just an experiment by me to learn how Wikipedian's treat constructive IP's. Oh, and the proof that I am who I am. Thanks for the welcome though :) 58.107.242.113 (talk) 12:51, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
