Another Sky Press is a non-traditional publishing company located in Portland, Oregon, established in April, 2006.
They print novels, collections of short stories, and visual art books.
In addition to making these books available for free online, copies of them are sold at cost, plus optional contribution by the customer. 100 percent of these contributions go directly to the individuals involved in the projects, from the authors through to the editors and cover designers.
The publisher prices their trade-paperbacks via a sliding-scale system, in which the base price is the cost of shipping, and readers set the final price by choosing what they would like to contribute to the creative team behind it - a system they choose to call neo-patronage.
