Ankush Johar is a senior industry veteran in the wireless industry. He is responsible for several innovations within the wireless industry globally. He conceived and implemented the world's largest short code based service receiving over 1.8 million SMSs daily – a service called indiatimes 8888.[1] He can count over 90 mobile operators globally as loyal, repeat customers.[2] He successfully founded and merged an internet and mobile software development company in 2000.
Ankush has regularly made appearances in the international media on Mobile/Wireless related issues. His media credits include appearances on CNBC, Sky News, BBC, Financial Express, HT among others.
He holds an Honours degree in Economics from India and an Msc in Business Systems from City University, London.[3]. He is based in London and is Director of business development at the Wireless World Forum[4]
