Anketell is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located within the Town of Kwinana. Its postcode is 6167.

This suburb was originally a portion of Cockburn Sound Location 16, Thomas Peel's huge land grant of nearly 250,000 acres (1,000 km²). Some of the grant was used for the "Peel Estate" Group Settlement Scheme in the 1920s. The suburb was named after Richard John Anketell, a Surveyor who was the Engineer in Chief of the drainage scheme for the Peel Estate. Group Settlement Scheme in the 1920s.
