Ankaralı Turgut is one of the oldest and once the most popular singer from the "Ankaralı"(the one comes from Ankara) school of Turkish ethnic music. He started his career in early 90's and he was morally questionized by many. His rivals are Ankaralı Namık and Hasan Yılmaz. He suddenly disappeared from the music industry.
