Anjana Verma

Anjana Verma is a noted Hindi poet residing in India. She writes from her hometown Muzaffarpur, tucked away in the state of Bihar. In the year 1992 she was given the 'Sahityakaar Raman Award'.

She has been writing for over 20 years and her works include poems, essays, short stories and songs. The beauty of her work lies in the simplicity of language that articulately crafts the most moving stories. Her subjects are new, sometimes unusual. That perhaps is her greatest strength.
