Missing image Image:BrandenburgerTorGold.JPG

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:BrandenburgerTorGold.JPG, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:BrandenburgerTorGold.JPG is an image page for a missing or corrupt image or an empty image description page for a Commons-hosted image.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Image:BrandenburgerTorGold.JPG, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Huggle User Category

Hi there. I have seen that you use huggle by the fact that you have automatically updated the huggle white list(it does this when closing huggle). I was wondering if you would add the category [[Category:Wikipedians who use Huggle]] to your user page so that it fills out and we know who actually uses huggle. If you do not want to you do not have to. I am also sorry if i have already talked to you about this or you no longer use huggle but i sent it to everyone that has edited the page since mid January. I hope we can start to fill out this category. If you would like to reply to this message then please reply on my talk page as i will probably not check here again. Thanks. ·Add§hore· Talk/Cont 18:27, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

Thanks

A one-year-late thanks for that "Anti-Environmentalism Barnstar". :) --TBC!?! 09:15, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

Lol, better late than never, right? Animum (talk) 23:16, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

IRC question continued

Okay, before i got klined, i'd like to make a project that includes public Park'N'Rides and what they link to... --Bag² (talk) 00:07, 4 March 2008 (UTC)

adoption query

Hi (: I just submitted my username for adoption yesterday. I was scrolling through the list of adopters and I saw you're into new page patrol; I'm pretty interested in getting involved there. A little about myself otherwise: I've been using Wikipedia for ages and I've done tiny edits here and there for a while, but it wasn't until recently that I decided I really wanted to be active on the site. I like copy-editing, grammar, syntax... all the little things, but I want to get good at something, and NPP just seems great and helpful. (: You listed yourself as available to adopt one more user, but if you don't think that'll work anymore, I'm cool with that too. Just let me know! Ashley {talkback} 17:13, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

It's fine with me! Animum (talk) 21:26, 10 March 2008 (UTC)r

Riana's request for bureaucratship

Dear Animum, thank you for taking part in my RfB. As you may know, it was not passed by bureaucrats.
I would, however, like to thank you for taking the time to voice your support, despite concerns cited by the opposition. Although RfA/B isn't really about a person, but more about the community, I was deeply touched and honoured by the outpouring of support and interest in the discussion. I can only hope that you don't feel your opinion was not considered enough - bureaucrats have to give everyone's thoughts weight.
I also hope that the results of this RfB lead to some change in the way we approach RfBs, and some thought about whether long-entrenched standards are a good thing in our growing and increasingly heterogenous community.
I remain eager to serve you as an administrator and as an editor. If at any point you see something problematic in my actions, please do not hesitate to call me out. ~ Riana 12:39, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

Could you block this user. This user had a final warning and still vandalized Diurnality. Footballfan190 (talk) 23:21, 18 March 2008 (UTC)

Departure

I have left Wikipedia. Goodbye! --Bag² (talk) 05:33, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

Edit

Hello,

I do not agree that the edit I made to AU was vandalism. Wikipedia should stand for truth, and the truth of the matter is, AU and private universities across America DO steal money from less fortunate kids. I will continue to maintain that my edit was not unreasonable nor was it vandalism. However if you can explain to me why it was, I will cease to edit the page as such. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 147.9.62.172 (talk) 20:00, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

Firstly, this has no source to back it up; secondly, it is an opinion; thirdly, even if it were fact, the way you said it not the way it is supposed to be said in an encyclopedia article. Yours, —Animum (talk) 20:04, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

It was my page I changed!!!!

I changed MY OWN PAGE!!!!! How can I vandalise MY OWN PAGE???????? That is my page, and I have quoted souces 4 the video, picture, lyrics, and who wrote it which is me!!! I have done nothing wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Chris4925 (talk • contribs) 20:07, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

It isn't your article, and you didn't have to get rid of the "External links" heading; nonetheless, I apologize for the warning. Also, please lay off the exclamation points and capital letters. Best, —Animum (talk) 20:12, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

While I agree, his first edit was vandalism, his second edit did seem to be made in good faith (if POV) and as such, should he not have received a NPOV notice and not a vandalism warning? In the spirit of not biting... xenocidic (talk) 20:30, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

Fair enough. The RC program I use doesn't present a dialog box with a choice of warnings with the function I chose, so yeah. Animum (talk) 20:32, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
Gotcha. Twinkle 4tw? =) xenocidic (talk) 20:34, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
Huggle, actually. Animum (talk) 20:34, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
hehe, what I meant was, Twinkle gives you a whole long list of notices. =) xenocidic (talk) 20:37, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
Huggle can too; I just didn't choose that option. Animum (talk) 20:50, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
Ahh.. Anyhow, I tried to "cuddle" the newbie a bit. Have a good one! xenocidic (talk) 21:03, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
