Is it right that she mainly writes about Jewish characters? Which books?

Having read Hotel du Lac, I cannot confirm this information. In this novel, there is no mention of Jews or Jewish traditions. What she does describe in great detail is the life of bourgeois women. In combination with her very formal style, it sometimes seemed to me that the novel was written in the 18th century. --Thüringer ☼ 22:02, 15 May 2005 (UTC)
PS: After some web searching, I can confirm that the author is considered an important contributor to Jewish culture in the UK. One book of hers that is very likely to contain Jewish characters is Latecomers. --Thüringer ☼ 15:36, 16 May 2005 (UTC)
