Pramod is apparently an Indian male name. Is it being used in this context to mean a man, as the name Jack might be used in English? Biscuittin 15:47, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

this term was introduced by an anonymous user. So I've undone it back to the original "Donkeys". Chris55 17:51, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

However I question the existence of this page altogether. As far as I can see, the term is not in common use and simply reflects a confusion as to whether the terms "treadmill" and "treadwheel" can be used for animal as distinct from human powered machines. My dictionary says it is either. So I would propose moving whatever is useful to the treadwheel page, assuming that treadmill is normally understood as a piece of exercise equipment. Chris, you are confusing two different things here. The historic use of a treadwheel or treadmill was to perform a task of work, not exercise for the sake of exercise. The basic difference between treadmills and treadwheels is that with treadmills they are powered from the outside of the wheel, and treadwheels are powered from the inside of the wheel. If you think that treadmill as a piece of exercise equipment merits its own page, create it and add a disambiguation page. Mjroots (talk) 12:56, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
