Anita Barone (born September 25, 1964, St. Louis, Missouri) is an American actress. She starred in the Fox sitcom The War at Home.

Barone earned her BFA from the University of Detroit, followed by an MFA from Wayne State University.

Previously, Barone appeared in the fourth-season Seinfeld episode "The Shoes" as Gail Cunningham, a chef who wanted Elaine's shoes. In the early 1990s, she was a regular cast member of Carol and Company with the legendary actress Carol Burnett.
Ms Barone also briefly played Carol Willick on Friends. Barone starred on The Jeff Foxworthy Show for the first season. She also starred in The War At Home, an American sitcom.
Barone co-starred in the sitcom Daddio.
Barone has worked for GCap Media occasionally.[citation needed]
Barone was the recipient of the 2005 Methodfest best supporting actress award for her work in "One Last Ride".
