Animation Hip Hop is a style of hip hop dance featured in the 2008 So You Think You Can Dance Australia,[1][2] it is a sub-style popping. It mimics the stop-and-go animation, most commonly found in the clay animations in early movies, prior to CGI.
The use of this term has caused some controversy across the Australian Hip Hop (Dancing) community, since "Animation Hip Hop" is not the correct term. It is most commonly known as "Animation", sometimes also known as Sinbadding (named after 1958 movie The Seventh Voyage of Sinbad).
