Anil Biswas (nick name 'Keru') (March 2, 1944, Karimpur, India - March 26, 2006, Kolkata, India) was an Indian politician. He was the secretary of the West Bengal State Committee of Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPI(M)) and member of the party's Polit Bureau beginning in 1998. He was the editor of Marxbadi Path the theoretical quarterly in Bengal. He hailed from a village in Nadia District of West Bengal. He was known to be a deft strategist of the party.

He died at 5:25 p.m. on March 26, 2006 after being hospitalised by a brain haemorrhage on March 18.

His body was donated to NRS Medical College and Hospital according to his last wishes. He is survived by his wife Gita and daughter Ajanta.
