Yesterday I have edited a term which is the Italian version of an alterady published term in English and in French. I think I have respected all the policies for publication (no ads, no offending content, etc.). The item was deleted, but could not find the log, so I cannot find out why it was deleted and what I can do to improve my contribution in order to have it published. I's my first one!

Yesterday I have edited a term which is the Italian version of an alterady published term in English and in French ("creative capitalism"). I think I have respected all the policies for publication (no ads, no offending content, etc.). Maybe I did something wrong on images and multimedia content. The item was deleted, but could not find the log, so I cannot find out why it was deleted and what I can do to improve my contribution in order to have it published. I's my first one!

Do you know what it was named? How could it have been the Italian version if this is the English Wikipedia? -- Mentifisto 12:10, 3 February 2008 (UTC)

Yes, I'm referring to "capitalismo creativo". So I have to argue that the reasson why it was cancelled was that it was not written in English, and that I soould have added it to the Italian Wikipedia! Sorry, but I'm at the beginning, and all seems to me a little puzzling. Thank you for your help! Angela

I'm sorry, I don't understand what your question is now. Do you want to get a copy of the deleted article? If you don't have a copy and want one, you can ask an administrator to give you a copy. If you write the whole article in Italian, then the Italian Wikipedia is probably a good place for it. I don't think you can have an article here with that Italian title, even if the article is in English, unless that Italian phrase really means something quite a bit different from the English phrase. We only have one article on each topic, even if there is more than one word for the topic.
I appreciate you contributing to Wikipedia, and I'm sorry that it can be confusing at first. Feel free to ask me questions on my talk page. Here's some standard welcome information that might help you:

Hello there! In this case, the term that you included was just a copy of an English article, written in Italian, so it was removed. If you'd like to create that article, feel free to do so at the Italian wikipedia. Also, if you'd like to link to that from the English version of the article, please feel free to add
[[it: Capitalismo creativo]]
to the bottom of the English article. This will include a link to the Italian page, so that English users know that they can look there if they wish. Cheers! Master of Puppets Call me MoP! 15:49, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
