Hey, I'm Angus Lepper. I hail from the east coast of Scotland.

Wikipedia Editing

The majority of my edits are simple cleanup jobs or corrections of spelling and grammar. A lot of these are on fairly obscure articles, as I make heavy use of the 'random article' feature! In addition, I make a regular sweep of the articles for the programming languages which I know in case there is something I can contribute. I watch Recent Changes and New Pages for dodgy edits; I use Popups (to preview) and Twinkle (to revert and warn) under Firefox for this. I also occasionally lurk on the Wikipedia IRC channels as Angus_Lepper. If necessary, feel free to see my editcount.

Current Endeavours

  • Contribute more in the Wikipedia: and Wikipedia Talk: namespaces.
  • Bring an article up to GA and hopefully then FA status.

Subpages

My desktop; used when I occasionally need to draft a very large section of an article over a period of time. /uw-sand — a gentle prod about removing the headers from WP:SANDBOX (also, /sandhead for reinserting the header; both templates should be substituted).

Articles I've Started

Created after watching a Watchdog episode covering a dodgy airline; I was surprised that the page didn't already exist.
Created after I came across its formal definition in the original paper; its sibling terms were already covered, and there was a request at hylomorphism for its creation.
Created after a work experience placement there, and because I pass its headquarters almost every day.
Started stub after a reference desk question. Information was pretty scant, despite his apparent productivity.
