User: AngelaVietto Real name: Angela Vietto

I'm an associate professor of English at Eastern Illinois University. My areas of scholarship are early American literature and the history of printing and authorship. In addition to literature, I teach technical communication and other writing classes.

I'm joining Wikipedia in 2008 for two reasons. I want to work on pages related to my primary area of interest, since many of them are not very complete or well referenced. In addition, last semester I tried a Wikipedia editing project in my technical communication class, and I loved the results. In the future I want to continue to have students work with Wikipedia.
