Angus Robertson (born 28 September 1969, Wimbledon, London, England) is a Scottish National Party politician. In 2001, he was first elected as Member of Parliament for Moray in the north of Scotland. In May 2007, he was appointed as leader of the SNP group in the British House of Commons [1], succeeding Alex Salmond.
He was born to a Scottish father and German mother, and was educated at Broughton High School, Edinburgh and the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, gaining a degree in politics and international relations.
