Angus “Tando” MacIsaac, MLA (born June 4, 1943 in London, United Kingdom,) is an educator and businessman and the current Minister of Transportation and Public Works of Nova Scotia, Canada.

MacIsaac is a graduate of Nova Scotia Teachers College and St. Francis Xavier Universitywhere he received a Bachelor of Arts. He is married to Mary Ann MacIsaac and they have two children.

MacIsaac was first elected to the Legislative Assembly of Nova Scotia in 1969 as a Progressive Conservative candidate at the age of 25, representing the riding of Guysborough. He was re-elected in 1970. MacIsaac returned to politics in 1999 by winning the traditionally Liberal riding of Antigonish in a squeaker. Angus MacIsaac served as Minister of Health, Minister of Education and Minister of Housing in John Hamm’s government. He was re-elected with a larger margin of victory in the 2003 provincial election. MacIsaac was one of the strongest supporters of Rodney MacDonald in the 2006 Nova Scotia PC leadership election to replace Premier John Hamm. MacIsaac was named as Minister of Transportation and Public Works by Premier MacDonald. He is also Chair of the Treasury and Policy Board and is the Minister responsible for the Sydney Steel Corporation Act. MacIsaac also became the first Minister of Gaelic Initiatives.
