Angono is a 1st class urban municipality in the province of Rizal, Philippines. It is located 30km East of Manila. According to the 2007 census, it has a population of 97,209 people in 18,062 households.

First created as a pueblo in 1766, Angono became a municipality in 1935.

It is the hometown of two national artists, Lucio San Pedro for music and Carlos "Botong" Francisco for arts. It is where the Angono Petroglyphs got its name.[citation needed]

Every 23rd of November, Angono celebrates the Higantes Festival, which is locally known as the Feast of Saint Clement.
