Angler is a character appearing in specific Marvel Comics titles, a supervillain and enemy of Quasar and more minorly of the Human Torch. To the common eye, Angler appears as a green and pink, misshapen geometric figure made up of complex designings of fitted angles representing a being of irregular physics. Angler first appeared in Quasar #3 (1989). His appearances lasted for forty-nine more issues of the same title.
The Chief Examiner released the Angler and set him after Kayla Ballentine, the then-girlfriend of the superhero Quasar.[1]
He was a subject of study at Project: Pegasus for a time.
