Angie is a 1978 album recorded by Latina R&B vocalist Angela Bofill.
This is the original recording debut of Angela Bofill on the GRP Records label. The album was heralded as a mild success, popularizing on some of the themes of the times. Such songs as This Time I'll Be Sweeter and Rough Times, were able to chart fairly on the U.S R&B front. Being the first of her kind to do so, Angela Bofill's sophisticated vocals would prove to have an effect on the Jazz, Latin and Urban Contemporary music audiences of the time.
The album was digitally remastered and released in 2001 on Buddah Records
