Angelo Palombo (born 25 September 1981, in Ferentino, Province of Frosinone) is an Italian footballer. A midfielder, he currently plays for U.C. Sampdoria.

Palombo started his career at AC Fiorentina. He moved to U.C. Sampdoria on free transfer after Fiorentina's bankruptcy in 2002. He is regarded as in inspirational character on the ptich, very much in the same mould as Gennaro Gattuso. Palombo is fierce in the tackle and never gives up a lost cause. It is the belief of many that Palombo will eventually be the natural successor in the national side to Gattusso.

Palombo made his Italy national team debut with Sampdoria teamate Falcone, Delvecchio, Terlizzi, lose to Croatia on 0-2, August 16, 2006, by substitute Liverani in 58min.
