Angelo L. Greco Middle School

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Angelo L. Greco Middle School was opened in 1962 on East Fowler Avenue in Temple Terrace, Florida and educates around 1,100 students in grades 6-8.[1] The school is named in honor of Angelo L. Greco, Sr., who was elected School Board Trustee and served as chairman for six out of twelve years that he was in office.

The school employed reading teacher Debra Lafave, who gained international notoriety in 2004 when she was charged with sexual relations with one of her students, Matthew Merchant, in various locations including her classroom.[2] Lafave is serving probation until 2015 and her teaching certificate has been revoked.[3][4]
