Angela Griffin (born July 19, 1976 in Leeds) is an English television actress.

She appeared in the popular long-running British soap operas Emmerdale and most famously in Coronation Street as Fiona Middleton from 1993 to 1998. Subsequently she joined the original cast of the BBC medical drama series Holby City as Staff Nurse Jasmine Hopkins but left at the end of Series 3 in 2001 as she did not want to stick around due to a huge increase of episode numbers with the forthcoming Series. She has also appeared in the BBC dramas Cutting It and Down To Earth.

In October 2001, she presented a programme on the UK's Channel 4 on the subject of mixed race people in British society.

Recently in 2006 she appeared as a teacher, alongside former Cutting It co-star Jason Merrells in the BBC school drama series Waterloo Road. In an interview published in the Daily Express Magazine on 1 March 2008, she revealed that she will be back for the fourth series.

Angela also provides the voice of Amy, the vet in children's television show Postman Pat

On the 27th March 2007, Griffin appeared on the daytime cooking show "Daily Cooks Challenge", in which she revealed among some of her favourite dishes were banana fritters, and lobster noodles, a dish she can make herself.

27 July 2006 she married her boyfriend Jason Milligan. Daughter Tallulah Jae was born on 14th June 2004. Angela gave birth to another daughter at the end June 2007 called Melissa.

Angela is celebrity patron for the Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths' Save a Baby Month, May 2008. The campaign highlights the importance of further research into sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), also known as cot death, and asks people to get involved in a Mile in Memory [1], raising money to help research into the causes of cot death and support bereaved parents.
