Angela Bloomfield is a New Zealand actress and director.
She starred in Shortland Street for nine years, transforming Rachel McKenna from the school girl daughter of clinic boss into a university student, bar manager and later, a Shortland Street clinic employee.
Bloomfield has also performed in a number of feature films including Bonjour Timothy and The Frighteners. Acting has taken a back seat for the last three years as she has become a mother of two but she has kept her hand in directing for Shortland Street on and off and she is looking forward to performing again. She is married to Chris Houston and has two children, Max and Maya.[citation needed]
Bloomfield has also been a contestant on the N.Z show, Dancing with the Stars and was in 2006 voted as having New Zealand's best breasts[1].
