Angel Tang

Angel Tang (traditional Chinese: 唐錫毅; simplified Chinese: 唐锡毅; pinyin: Táng Xíyì) is a New York City-based television personality and model. She can currently be seen on the MTV spin-off channel MTV Chi. Prior to her engagement as a VJ, Angel was a model for Cosmopolitan, Vis-A-Vis Magazine, Royal Apparel, and the Dirty by Anthony DeFranco haircare line, among others. Angel Tang was also one of the ten finalists in the models.com/Wilhelmina Models Model Search 2005. She's chiefly known for her midnight hair, good mood, and smile.

Angel was born in Shanghai and raised in New York. She attended St. John's University for college as a pharmacy major. She is one of the VJs on MTV Chi and currently hosts the Top Ten Chi Countdown which is a show that allows people to vote for their favorite music videos of the week. The music videos range from Chinese to English.

MTV Chi is a spin-off network from MTV that is targeted at Chinese Americans. The network features various styles of music such as Mandarin rock, Cantopop and Chinese American rap. It broadcasts in English and features a mix of original programming with the best of MTV's International programming. It launched on December 6, 2005.
