Angel Studios

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Angel Studios is a commercial recording studio located on the corner of Upper Street and Gaskin Street in The Angel, Islington in London, England.

The building in which the three studio complex is housed is a renovated United Reform Church; some internal features of the church remain in the studio, such as the original Victorian choir stalls. The studios were built in 1980 and are owned by deWolfe Music, a production music library company.

Among the many projects which have been recorded at the studio, some of the awards winning projects have included George Fenton (Classical Brits "Soundtrack composer of the year" for Planet Earth), Martin Phipps (Ivor Novello Award "Best Television Soundtrack" for The Virgin Queen)[1]
