Angel Albino Corzo International Airport

Angel Albino Corzo International Airport is a new international airport located at Mexican municipal of Chiapa de Corzo, Chiapas, Mexico. It handles national and international air traffic for the city of Tuxtla Gutiérrez. It was inaugurated by President Vicente Fox in May 15, 2006, replacing the Francisco Sarabia National Airport. It's operated by "Sociedad Operadora del Aeropuerto Internacional Ángel Albino Corzo, S.A. de C.V.", a government-owned corporation.
The airport is comprised of a concrete runway, a parallel taxiway, several hangars, a commercial aviation apron, a general aviation apron, a military base, and a state-of-the-art commercial terminal equipped with 6 glass-jetways, 2 of which are capable of handling medium-large aircraft such as the Boeing 767 and Airbus A330 models.
