"Angel" is a song written and performed by Stevie Nicks on the Fleetwood Mac album Tusk. Nicks attributed the song to the story of Rhiannon in the Mabinogion and in particular Arawn, who is the great lord of darkness.
"Rhiannon (Will You Ever Win)", written a few years earlier by Nicks, was also a successful single for Fleetwood Mac. However, that song was not based on the Welsh myth but a novel called Triad, by Mary Leader. It was only after Rhiannon was written that Nicks became aware of the myth.
