[edit] List of World Records
Hi Andymmu,
I agree entirely with your removal of the records from a closed competition on the List of world records page. As you seem to be a sensible person when, would you be so kind as to comment on my proposals to split the page on the talk-page at Talk:List of world records#"World" Records and Talk:List of world records#Really, People!, with any thoughts you have. --Neo 13:17, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] MMUnion
If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article MMUnion, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:
- editing articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with,
- participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors,
- linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
- and you must always:
- avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially neutral point of view, verifiability, and autobiography.
Accounts used solely for blatant self-promotion may be blocked indefinitely without further warning.
For more details, please read the Conflict of Interest guideline. I have no specific problems with your edits to the article, but I thought it was worth giving you a heads-up and pointing you towards the relevant policies to avoid any potential problems in the future. As a former MMU student, I'd like to see MMU-related articles stay in-keeping with Wikipedia policy and quality standards. —David Johnson [T|C] 20:50, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Image source problem with Image:Aulogo.jpg
This is an automated message from a robot. You have recently uploaded Image:Aulogo.jpg. The file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 19:30, 11 September 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. If you believe you received this message in error, please notify the bot's owner. [edit] UK vs. US
Thank you for the clarification. I'm sure the Atlantic Ocean gave me that distinction a little while before you did. - Jameson L. Tai talk ♦ contribs 02:45, 10 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] AfD nomination of MMUnion
I have nominated MMUnion, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/MMUnion (2nd nomination). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. [edit] Question...
Just a quick heads-up - I have left a comment on the MMU deletion discussion page, in which I have asked you a question. I would appreciate your answer: it's time we sort this mess out once and for all. TalkIslander 23:52, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
