[edit] Civility

I saw a comment by you on an anonymous user's talk page: [1]. Please bear in mind that civility is very important to Wikipedia. Even if someone does something that makes you angry, you should not retaliate by calling them "assoles" and the like. Remember that anonymous IP users may be new to Wikipedia and they may not realize that their changes are visible to everyone. FreplySpang 15:02, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Jonathan Babineaux

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions, including your edits to Jonathan Babineaux. As a member of the Wikipedia community, please be aware of Wikipedia's policy that biographical information of living persons must not be libelous. Any controversial statements about a living person added to an article must include proper sources. Thank you. Mr.Z-mantalk¢ 23:23, 26 April 2007 (UTC)

Sorry, but Biographies of living persons policy is quite clear. Unsourced or poorly sourced contentious material — whether negative, positive, or just highly questionable — about living persons should be removed immediately and without discussion from Wikipedia articles. Just saying "several media sources" is not near enough accurate sourcing. As for other additions that were sourced and removed, don't complain to me, complain to the editors who removed it then. If you are referring to this edit, the text was copied word for word from the source, making it a copyright violation. I'm guessing however that you are referring to this. It was removed by an anonymous user and since it was sourced, I put it back in. Mr.Z-mantalk¢ 01:49, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
